Product Description Da Bird is a high quality, durable, interactive toy that cats just LOVE. If you have not witnessed first hand a cats reaction to Da Bird, then you have no idea what you are in for! A single bob of Da Bird is completely irresistible to cats. Set on a swivel, its feathers look, sound, and feel like real bird wings. Its the most fun you'll have with your feline friends! You receive the ORIGINAL FULL LENGTH pole (36 inches) and 2 Refills. The single part pole is better if size is not an issue, since the 2 part pole can sometimes come apart while you are using it.

concerned June 23, 2010 Ang (PA) this toy seems great at first but has caused my kitty to have a seizure everytime she plays with it. It went in the trash tonight after casuing the 4th episode since we purchased it. BE CAREFUL!
Cats go nuts over Da Bird June 8, 2010 Karen Hickey (T-town, WA USA) My cats just weren't interested in their old toys anymore, so I decided I was going to follow Pam Johnson-Bennett's recommendations. I am absolutely glad I did. I think I actually had one of these before but was probably put off by the cost. Not really sure why, since I pamper my cats, I guess I didn't want another toy in the box they weren't interested in. Well they absolutely love the 'fluttering bird stuck in the house'. I think one of my girls actually pants from over exertion! If they hear the 'flutter' they all wake up and come running to capture Da Bird. I'm glad I purchased the value pack with two extra 'birds'. I will definitely need them! I highly recommend this toy. Even an outdoor cat would enjoy this immensely!
Best cat toy ever! June 5, 2010 SupaD (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used Da Bird with several cats, including my three kitties, and my daughter's five cats. From small lithe active kitties to slow chubby cats, they go NUTS! The small active kitty did a 5-foot vertical leap from a sitting pose trying to get this toy! My cats have done some gravity-defying moves trying to get Da Bird. They played so hard they were panting like dogs! It was soooo funny. And the best thing about Da Bird is you can buy replacement feathers - and believe me you WILL need them! I bought a similar toy before finding Da Bird and my cats tore the feathers up and then it was useless. And your cats WILL tear this up - I have to make sure I hide it well when not in use because my cats have found it and tore it up! And it has a HUGE benefit for humans too . . . stress releaser! Whenever I come home from work stressed out I'll take out Da Bird and my kitties go so crazy they have me cracking up in no time, with whatever was bothering me long forgotten.
NOT the Original Da Bird June 3, 2010 Kathleen Ann Spreen (DALLAS, TX, US) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We have a full house when it comes to felines, so we have purchased numerous Da Birds for at least the past 10 years. In May 2010, we purchased a new Da Bird and noticed the design is completely different from the Original Da Bird. In the original design, the feather was a ball-chain connect and the handle was one long, heavy piece of plastic. The new design uses what looks like a fishing lure (which is very sharp and I had to cover it with duct tape), and the handle is in two pieces, which separates, thin and flimsy. The feather no longer flutters like a bird, but merely soars through the air. It's obvious from my review that I am displeased with the design changes. I will now be on a mission to find a different bird toy that is sturdy and emulates a flying, fluttering bird. Sorry Da Bird, this feline lover has flown the coop...
cat loves it, but it splinters!! May 23, 2010 S. Wright (Brooklyn, NY) My cat absolutely LOVES this toy. I have to keep it in a closet and any time I walk anywhere near the closet she runs to the door, meowing and pawing for me to get it out and play. She runs, jumps, somersaults, leaps and flips to catch this thing. HOWEVER. When we were playing tonight I felt something sharp pinch my thumb, I looked and didn't see anything and put the toy away without much more thought. As I was preparing to write this review, however, I see that someone else discovered that the fiberglass pole splinters, causing harm to the person, and many other reviews on other websites have reported the same thing. Bella is going to be so sad!!
